{"source_id":"cove-34283726579988","company":"Cove","kind":"documentation","category":"documentation","title":"Email Builder: Preparing To Send Emails","url":"https://support.cove.is/hc/en-us/articles/34283726579988-Email-Builder-Preparing-To-Send-Emails","body":"Prior to sending emails, it is important to do two things to ensure they look exactly how you want them to look:\n\ncheck the formatting of your email for desktop and mobile view\n\nsend a test email to yourself\n\nCheck the Formatting of Your Email for Desktop and Mobile View\nAfter creating and formatting your email in desktop view, make sure to also format it for mobile view.\n\nSend a Test Email to Yourself\n\nNote: Test emails are sent using the sender name configured for the announcement type you selected, followed by \"Preview.\" For example, if your Promotional announcements use the sender name \"Marketing Team,\" your test email will arrive from \"Marketing Team Preview.\" This makes test sends easy to spot in your inbox while still showing you the sender name your recipients will see. Sender names for each announcement type are configured in Property Info Settings as pictured below.
