You can create and assign an unlimited number of tags per user, set tags as active or deactivated, and bulk add or remove tags from the User directory. Add User Tags to Highlights, Events, and Amenities so that segmented groups of users can see specific content, and use User Tags as audiences when sending announcements from the dashboard (mobile coming soon).\n\nWhere Can I See User Tags?\n\nCreating User Tags\n\nIndividually Adding User Tags\n\nBulk Adding User Tags\n\nBulk Removing User Tags\n\nAssigning User Tags to Highlights, Events, Amenities, and Announcements\n\nDisabling User Tags\n\nWhere Can I See User Tags?\nUser Tags are visible from the user directory and individual profiles as a Building Administrator. Users cannot see the tags associated with their profile.\n\nCreating User Tags\n\nNavigate to the Directory section of the cove dashboard.\n\nClick on Tags.\n\nClick on + Create Tag.\n\nFill out the Tag information:\n\nTag Name: Keep this short so it's easier to see in the dashboard\n\nStatus:\n\nActive: Tags that are actively being used\n\nDisabled: Tags that are no longer in use\n\nDescription: This is internal only. We recommend writing a more detailed description so your tag name can stay short.\n\nClick Save\n\nIndividually Adding User Tags\n\nNavigate to a user's profile in the Directory module.\n\nScroll down to the Tags section of their profile.\n\nSelect the appropriate User Tag from the dropdown menu.\n\nClick Save.\n\nBulk Adding User Tags\n\nNavigate to the Directory section of the cove dashboard.\n\nClick on Users.\n\nSelect the users you would like to tag.\n\nClick on Action (number) Button at the top.\n\nSelect Add Tags.\n\nSelect the desired tag from the dropdown menu.\n\nClick Save.\n\nBulk Removing User Tags\n\nNavigate to the Directory section of the cove dashboard.\n\nClick on Users.\n\nSelect the users for which you would like to remove a tag.\n\nClick on Action (number) Button at the top.\n\nSelect Remove Tags.\n\nSelect the tag you would like to remove from the dropdown menu.\n\nClick Save.\n\nAdding User Tags to Highlights, Events, Amenities, and Announcements\nHighlight sections, individual highlights, events, amenity categories, individual amenities, and announcements can all be made visible to specified user groups by adding user tags. Here are a few examples of when this might be helpful:\n\nTenant Points of Contact: Create content just for Tenant POCs -- events, tenant handbooks, amenity spaces\n\nMembership Spaces: Content only for fitness center members and/or members who have completed a waiver.\n\nAffinity Groups: Target specific users with content about affinity groups.\n\nNavigate to a highlight, event, or amenity on the dashboard.\n\nScroll to the Visibility section of any of these setup forms.\n\nSelect Only Visible to Specific User Tags, and a dropdown menu of all your user tags will appear.\n\nSelect the users you would like to see this highlight, event, or amenity space.\n\nClick Save.\n\nNote: Building Admin will still be able to see highlights, events, and amenities even if they are not in that user group.\nDisabling User Tags\nDisabling user tags prevents them from being used in the future.
