If you prefer to use a password instead, follow the directions in this article to set one up.\n\nIn this article:\n\npassword setup for mobile app\n\npassword setup for the dashboard\n\nNote: You will still receive a passcode even after setting up a password. To log in with your password, simply select Use password instead on the passcode screen each time.\n\nPassword Setup for Mobile App\n\nOpen your building app and enter your email address.\n\nClick Use Password Instead on the login screen.\n\nOn the next screen, click Forgot password? Reset Your Password.\n\nFind the email sent to you from Cove and click Verify Email.\n\nChoose and confirm your password.\n\nNote: Password Requirements\n\nYour password must be 15 or more characters long and contain:\n\n1 number\n\n1 uppercase letter\n\n1 lowercase letter\n\n1 special character (such as !, #, % symbols)\n\nClick Change Password.\n\nReopen your building app and choose Use Password Instead.\n\nEnter your new password.\n\nNote: If you log in using a code after setting up a password, your password will be reset and you will need to create a new one using the same steps.\n\nPassword Setup for Dashboard\n\nNavigate to https://manage.cove.is/\n\nEnter your work email and click Login.\n\nClick Use Password Instead.\n\nCheck your email for an email with the subject line Your Password Reset Request.\n\nNote: These emails typically arrive within 10-15 seconds.
