Buildings are created during onboarding by your Cove team, and floors and suites are built out within them to reflect your property's physical layout.\n\nEvery work order, maintenance task, and inspection is tied to a specific location. The floors and suites you configure here populate the location dropdowns across those modules. When you assign floors and suites to a tenant organization, those locations become the options that tenant sees when submitting requests.\n\nKeeping your location data complete and accurate ensures work orders reach the right team, charges are associated to the right tenant, and your reporting reflects a true picture of activity across your property. For properties with multiple buildings, adding a building address ensures visitors receive the correct building address in their invitation email rather than the general site address.\n\nAdd manually\n\nAdding a building address\n\nBulk Upload\n\nDelete\n\nAdd Manually\nWhen adding floors, suite types, and suites manually, we recommend doing so in this order:\nAdd Floors\n\nClick + Add Floor in the upper right corner.\n\nSelect the appropriate building from the dropdown menu.\n\nName the floor.\n\nClick Save. This floor will now appear in the Floors tab of the Buildings, Floors, and Suites table.\n\nAdd Suite Types\nUse suite types to determine suite visibility and control the availability of locations in which tenants can submit work order requests. Examples: common area, mechanical room, restroom, stairwell, tenant unit.\n\nDetermine suite visibility.
