The main purpose is to: save time by reducing the number of steps to complete a task, improve efficiency for both users and teams, or highlight key actions that are relevant to daily operations. You can add up to four Quick Action Buttons to your app's homepage.\nCreate Quick Action Buttons\n\nNavigate to the Engage module of your dashboard.\n\nClick on the App Home Screen sub-page.\n\nClick on Setup Quick Action Buttons in the upper right.\n\nConfigure each Quick Action Button by adding the following information for each:\n\nAction Button: Select the desired action, such as:\n\nAmenity Reservation General\n\nAmenity Reservation- Specific Amenity\n\nExternal Link\n\nOpens a URL in the app.\n\nWhen External Link is selected, a Use external browser for web links checkbox will appear.\n\nCheck this box to open the link in the device's native browser instead of within the Cove app.\n\nThis is useful for third-party web apps that are not compatible with in-app web views.\n\nNew Service Request\n\nNew Service Request- Specific Issue Type\n\nVisitor Management\n\nAdditional Field: Based on your selected action, enter a URL or choose the specific amenity or request type from the dropdown.\n\nAction Button Text: Enter the label users will see on the Quick Action Button.\n\nButton Visibility: Configure who will see this button.\n\nAll roles (default): By default, Quick Action Buttons are visible to all of your users.\n\nInternal Team Only (Staff & Employees): Select this option if you want the Quick Action Button to be visible only to your building team members.\n\nTo add another button, click Add Additional Button and repeat step 4.\n\nTo view and check your quick action buttons, open your building app and refresh by pulling down from the top of the screen.","capture_id":"7385c413ebaf79453bc410caa58cf23046b1fb7d32f2a47df21ef478c56f0fb5","captured_at":"2026-10-12T13:26:53.056Z","published_at":null,"indexed_at":"2026-10-12T13:26:53.098Z","truncated":0,"scope_tier":"primary","monitor_reason":"","last_error":null,"last_attempt_at":"2026-10-12T13:26:52.518Z","enabled":1,"evidence_notes":[],"text_available":true,"media":["https://support.cove.is/hc/article_attachments/38738661992980"],"interpretation":"Unreviewed source evidence.
