Any Tenant Admin can be assigned this role, but without the User Manager configuration, they will not be able to manage user profiles.\nNote: Property Teams now have the flexibility to disable Tenant Admin User Management, ensuring all user updates flow directly through the property team. When this setting is disabled (configured in the Property Info section), the option to assign a Tenant Admin as a User Manager will not appear in the Tenant Admin directory.\nOnce designated as a User Manager, a Tenant Admin can:\n\nAdd new users to the company directory\n\nEdit user roles (Regular User, Tenant Host, Tenant Admin)\n\nAssign additional User Managers\n\nSuspend or reactivate user accounts\n\nEdit user details (based on system settings)\n\nIn this article, we’ll cover:\n\nHow to make a Tenant Admin a User Manager\n\nHow User Managers Can Add, Edit, or Suspend users\n\nDisabling Tenant Admin User Management\n\nHow to make a Tenant Admin a User Manager\nProperty Team members (Building Admins and Building Managers) can assign a Tenant Admin to the User Manager role. Once assigned, Tenant Admin User Managers also have the ability to designate additional User Managers.\n\nNavigate to the Directory module and open the Users page.\n\nLocate the profile of the Tenant Admin you want to assign as a User Manager.\n\nClick the edit icon next to their profile.\n\nIn the User Role section, select the User Manager checkbox.\n\nClick Save to apply the changes.\n\nHow User Managers Can Add, Edit, or Suspend Users\nOnce a Tenant Admin is designated as a User Manager they can can then add and edit user profiles for their organization.\nAdd Users\n\nNavigate to the Directory module of the dashboard, and click on the Users sub-page.\n\nClick on +New in the upper right, and from here the user form/profile will appear.\n\nFill out the User Profile. There are only four fields required to create a user profile as a Tenant Admin for your organization-the rest are optional:\n\nFirst Name\n\nLast Name\n\nEmail: Pro tip: This email will be used for the user's login, so double-check that it's accurate—if it's incorrect, the user won’t be able to log in.\n\nUser Role: As a User Manager you can adjust user's roles between the three user roles only:\n\nRegular User\n\nTenant Admin (with the ability to also make a TA a User Manager)\n\nTenant Host\n\nNote: By default the Account Status is set to Active- this is what allows users to log into the app and dashboard. If moved to Suspended, that user would not be allowed to log into the app or dashboard.\nEdit Users\nClick on the edit icon (pencil) next to any profile in your organization to edit it.\nSuspend Users\nWhen a user leaves your company, we recommend suspending a user from the system instead of deleting them so that you have a record of their profile existing.\nDisabling Tenant Admin User Management\nProperty Teams can choose whether or not Tenant Admins are allowed to be designated as User Managers.
