Choose a button for a strong call-to-action, hyperlinked text for a subtle in-line reference, or a linked image for a visual thumbnail that doubles as a link.\n\nPlease Note: Images and files cannot be dragged and dropped directly into the builder — instead, use one of the methods:\n\nAdd Links via a Button\n\nHyperlinked Text\n\nAbout the File Manager\n\nAdd Links via a Button\n\nButtons are a clear, visual way to direct readers to a file or URL.\n\nDrag and drop a button block into the builder or use an existing block, as highlighted in the orange box, and select it to edit\n\nYou can add a URL to the URL field, or select \"Link File\" highlighted in Blue under the URL, which will open the File Manager\n\nThe File Manager will open so you can upload a new file or select an existing one. Select MyFiles and then select either an existing file from your library or upload a new one by selecting Upload from your device. You will see the upload in progress\n\nOnce uploaded, select insert, and the URL will be updated\n\nHyperlinked Text\n\nUse this option to embed a link within the body copy without adding a button.\n\nHighlight the word or words you want to link in the email body\n\nClick the link icon in the text toolbar (pointed arrow below)\n\nChange the Link Type from URL to File Manager\n\nSelect myFiles\n\nSelect upload and choose a file from your computer. Once the processing completes, you are all set to select 'insert' on the image of your choice.\n\nAbout the File Manager\n\nAll three methods above use the built-in File Manager to browse, upload, and select files.\n\nAccess it from inside the builder via the Browse button on an image placeholder, the Change Image button in the image properties panel, or the Link File option on images and buttons\n\nFiles up to 20MB can be uploaded directly\n\nUse folders to keep your library organized as it grows","capture_id":"6ffe0a6738b1f7717cb8b745ab8875fbe54e03ba205ae1f06814ab6ea8a6ee5d","captured_at":"2026-10-12T13:04:57.389Z","published_at":null,"indexed_at":"2026-10-12T13:04:57.433Z","truncated":0,"scope_tier":"primary","monitor_reason":"","last_error":null,"last_attempt_at":"2026-10-12T13:04:56.876Z","enabled":1,"evidence_notes":[],"text_available":true,"media":["https://support.cove.is/hc/article_attachments/48779546702612","https://support.cove.is/hc/article_attachments/51864702955796","https://support.cove.is/hc/article_attachments/51864691562388","https://support.cove.is/hc/article_attachments/51901908553620","https://support.cove.is/hc/article_attachments/51910458608788","https://support.cove.is/hc/article_attachments/51910445484052","https://support.cove.is/hc/article_attachments/51910458611476","https://www.loom.com/embed/ee2aef62c4854755825289bf5783ac26"],"interpretation":"Unreviewed source evidence.
