Each category appears as its own card: an empty category shows a plus button to add your first entry, and a category with entries shows a count you can expand to review, edit, or delete items. Categories still needing information show a simple completion indicator, so you can see what's outstanding at a glance.\nLogging Labor\n\nTap the plus button on the Labor card to open Add Labor.\n\nEnter hours and minutes with the increment and decrement controls, then choose a Labor Rate from the quick-select buttons, which surface your most recently used rates.\n\nTap Other to see the full rate list if you need a different one in the drop-down that populates. Date Worked defaults to today but can be changed.\n\nAdvanced: Tap the advanced section to see who the work order was Performed By, if the work order is Billable, and an informational Estimated Cost breakdown (rate, hours, markup, tax, and total), are grouped under the Advanced section. Select save to see a success message\n\nLogging Notes\nTap the plus button on the Notes card to open Add Note. Tap Rewrite with AI if you'd like help tightening the wording, then save to add the entry to your Notes count.\nLogging Materials\n\nTap the plus button on the Materials card to open Add Material. Choose a Material Category and Material from the dropdowns, then enter the Quantity.\n\nPrice Per Item defaults to the cost configured for that material in your Materials library. You can overwrite it before adding the material if the actual cost differed — the price you enter is saved as the cost for that material entry. The material total updates in real time as you adjust either Price Per Item or Quantity.\n\nEditing the price here does not change the default cost stored in the Materials library. If the price you enter differs from the library default, the adjusted cost displays in red on the Billing Verification page so your reviewer can confirm the change before verifying.\n\nExpand Billing & note to mark the item billable or non-billable and add an optional note, then save to update your Materials count.Expand Billing & note to mark the item billable or non-billable and add an optional note, then save to update your Materials count.\n\nLogging Attachments/Photos\nTap the plus button on the Photos card to add a picture. Choose Take Photo to capture one with your camera or Choose from Library to select an existing image, then save it to attach it to the Work Order. Saved photos appear as thumbnails you can tap to view full size, or delete.","capture_id":"ff7a412e4b4c963bb21edba93b040417e92580d8511a2f37a066e90a9f36ba1e","captured_at":"2026-10-12T13:06:06.779Z","published_at":null,"indexed_at":"2026-10-12T13:06:06.818Z","truncated":0,"scope_tier":"primary","monitor_reason":"","last_error":null,"last_attempt_at":"2026-10-12T13:06:06.270Z","enabled":1,"evidence_notes":[],"text_available":true,"media":["https://support.cove.is/hc/article_attachments/51874224232212","https://support.cove.is/hc/article_attachments/51874251502740","https://support.cove.is/hc/article_attachments/51874251503252","https://support.cove.is/hc/article_attachments/52474427768340","https://support.cove.is/hc/article_attachments/51874527211156","https://support.cove.is/hc/article_attachments/51873675136404","https://support.cove.is/hc/article_attachments/51873675137172","https://support.cove.is/hc/article_attachments/51873675138196","https://support.cove.is/hc/article_attachments/51873682488340","https://support.cove.is/hc/article_attachments/51874251504276","https://support.cove.is/hc/article_attachments/53818157256212","https://support.cove.is/hc/article_attachments/53818157257364","https://support.cove.is/hc/article_attachments/51874537885460"],"interpretation":"Unreviewed source evidence.
