It centralizes both expected visitors and restricted visitors in one place- with AI powered matching to help prevent unauthorized access.\n\n## How the Watchlist Works\n\n**Navigate to [Tenants tab](https://app.visitt.io/tenants#tenants) > [Visitors](https://app.visitt.io/tenants#visitors) \\> Visitor Watchlist**\n\nThis opens a dedicated view containing all watchlist entries added by admins or tenant primary contacts.\n\n​\n\n![](https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/ymv0iawf/1834165910/7af9249f679bb8b88bee314fd1e6/image.png?expires=1791207900&signature=29fc2282555c7bdc829caf1531359013ec1d4b072bb31a70429f6300cd027154&req=dSgkEsh4mIheWfMW1HO4zVwDVdUpHaSTTKF5Yo94tpp6B335TMM5%2BG8JPOs%2B%0AiM%2BM2SpF2KwrQn7rAYU%3D%0A)\n\n* * *\n\n## Add and Manage Watchlist Entries\n\nEach entry includes:\n\n- Full name\n\n- Name variants (AI-assisted when Visitt AI is enabled)\n\n- Photo (optional but recommended for security teams)\n\n- Action instructions (e.g., _Do not allow entry_, _Call security_, _Notify tenant_)\n\n- Added By – Who created the entry\n\n- Restricted By – The tenant who reported the individual\n\n![](https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/ymv0iawf/1834171542/37ce8bb563e452f2743b9da61815/image.png?expires=1791207900&signature=9cb4d5dd2b0046ca1c0b9c9cca4d7d78f8ec172d6e47296471481d5345288f7e&req=dSgkEsh5nIRbW%2FMW1HO4zVttscBj%2BKiQvGRmD1cX8l0cF9mDDfD%2FluClSqrK%0AAy6i9%2Bd8EdDfgGOyiEs%3D%0A)\n\nAdmins can add entries on behalf of any tenant, including selecting which tenant the entry belongs to.\n\n* * *\n\n## Filter the Watchlist by Tenant\n\nIf the property has multiple tenants, you can filter the list to view only the entries belonging to a specific tenant.\n\n​\n\n![](https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/ymv0iawf/1834180748/ee464aab36a052749db4c03434e6/image.png?expires=1791207900&signature=5acb121e8d3d174adfb326a3ac501daa9aa99b8c97619cfaf385af45cb3b7352&req=dSgkEsh2nYZbUfMW1HO4zTi%2FLXp0Lq4ptaGJM2pvI9aM0iPuUPTfuDQ0dpjC%0AfbgidL1ybr%2B7mSgQ1%2BM%3D%0A)\n\n* * *\n\n## Adding a Watchlist Entry\n\nTo add a new Watchlist Entry, follow these steps:\n\n- Click **+** New\n\n- Select the tenant (admins only)\n\n- Enter the full name\n\n- Add **name variants -** AI can generate variants automatically (available only if Visitt AI is enabled)\n\n- Add **action instructions**\n\n- Upload a **photo** (optional)\n\n- Click **Add to Watchlist**\n\nThe entry will now appear in the list.\n\n​\n\nLoom \\| Free Screen & Video Recording Software\n\nSorryDue to the privacy settings for this video, it cannot be played here at this time.\n\nView it on Loom\n\n**Note:** Adding watchlist entries can be done by **Admins** inside the **Visitt** app, and by **Tenant Primary Contacts** inside **Visitt+** (only if enabled by the property team).\n\n* * *\n\n## AI-Powered Match Alerts (Beta)\n\nWhen an expected visitor is created, Visitt automatically checks for:\n\n- Exact name matches\n\n- Name variants manually added\n\n- AI-generated variants (when Visitt AI is enabled)\n\nIf a match is found, Visitt shows a red “Possible Watchlist Match” alert in the **Visitors table** (next to expected visitors).\n\n​\n\n![](https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/ymv0iawf/1834384309/01553ef268fc373b05f17ccc3380/image.png?expires=1791207900&signature=224de2af9caf3334deac6abc4190a7fd217f90cf51eb8778087ea27a2e28cce5&req=dSgkEsp2mYJfUPMW1HO4zZ0WBWdYTf%2BHJY%2F%2Fu5kwE%2BS%2FVPoeOMJ9gAP18Mkw%0AHOk1jKou9KpQxLq35Sg%3D%0A)\n\nInside the alert, you will find:\n\n- The visitor’s name\n\n- The matching watchlist entry\n\n- A confidence explanation (e.g., _Exact match on first and last name_)\n\n- The tenant who added the restriction\n\n- The action instructions\n\n![](https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/ymv0iawf/1834528191/a7913ec923ad06350fa3a45ac4e7/image.png?expires=1791207900&signature=c5435bbce4c6b2ce2f16e995c98c2078c55c8483359f02ce989bdb2d11818d8b&req=dSgkEsx8lYBWWPMW1HO4zeTfQsn2PCCzWDTcaiSl4R4AUxEn8e9S6u%2BJwAIi%0Ap8uAq2wYuP%2FvyThzT7Q%3D%0A)\n\nMatch alerts appear **before arrival**\n\nAdmins or security staff can then choose how to proceed:\n\n- Contact the tenant\n\n- Allow check-in\n\n- Deny entry\n\n- Clear the alert if it's a false match\n\nAll current match alerts appear under the “Possible Matches” tab inside the Watchlist.\n\n**Note:** Nothing prevents check-in unless the team decides to stop access.\n\nVisitt simply ensures no match is missed.\n\n* * *\n\n## Tenant-Facing Watchlist\n\nProperty teams can allow tenant primary contacts to manage their own lists through Visitt+.
