They also sync to your Tenants in Visitt+, where Tenants select a Category when submitting a Request. Under both the Work Orders and Inspections pages you can filter them by Categories to help you organize * *\n\n## **How to manage your Categories/Subcategories:**\n\n### Creating a new category:\n\n**1) Access Settings Menu**\n\nClick \"Settings\" to open the main configuration menu in * *\n\n## Common scenarios\n\n**Organizing Work Orders by type** — Create Categories like \"Plumbing\" or \"Electrical\" so your team can quickly filter and prioritize incoming Work Orders.\n\n**Structuring Inspections** — Assign Categories to Inspections to keep recurring checks organized and easy to filter.\n\n**Tenant-facing requests** — Categories sync to Visitt+, so Tenants see your Category list when submitting a Work Order. Keeping Categories clear and specific reduces miscategorized requests.\n\n* * *\n\n## FAQ\n\n- **Who can manage Categories?** Only Admins can create and edit Categories.\n\n- **Where do I find the Categories settings?** Go to Settings > Property > Categories.\n\n- **Do Categories apply across all my Properties?** When adding a Category, you select which Properties to assign it to. A Category only appears where assigned.\n\n- **Will my Tenants see subcategories in Visitt+?** Tenants see the Categories synced to their Property. If you use Subcategories, check that they display as expected in Visitt+.\n\n- **Can I delete a Category?** This article covers adding Categories and Subcategories.
