# PRISM market wedge and deal playbook

> *AI-generated recommendations for discussion. These are not Nick’s recommendations or approved JLL/PRISM guidance.

[Expanded UI and flow atlas](https://crefieldnotes.com/ui-flow-atlas.html) · [Full UI library](https://crefieldnotes.com/ui-gallery.html). The September 13 expansion contains 1,334 source assets and 58 documented flow maps.

## Strategic recommendation

**Lead with a measurable financial outcome: find completed services that have not been correctly billed, resolve the exceptions, and give finance a traceable path into accounting.** Start with tenant service charges and the handling of rejected or incomplete batches. Add vendor-cost exceptions only after the first workflow proves useful.

This is a recommended wedge for PRISM by Building Engines, a JLL company. It is a testable commercial hypothesis, not an established exclusive capability. The research supports a credible foundation in billable charges, accounting batches, Yardi integration and invoice controls. It does not establish that PRISM already ships the complete revenue-assurance agent proposed here. [P4](https://buildingengines-prism.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/47684140424347-Using-AI-Data-Extraction-for-Vendor-Invoices) [P6](https://buildingengines-prism.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/34452182321819-Adding-Billable-Charges-to-Work-Orders-Preventive-Maintenance-Tasks-and-Inspections) [P7](https://buildingengines-prism.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/35188639641499-Accounting-Batch-Exports) [P8](https://buildingengines-prism.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/46002310618139-January-28-2026-Release-Notes-Prism-Web-Platform)

The buying promise should be concrete: **“Show which eligible completed work has not reached accounting correctly, explain why, and help the team resolve it.”** A finance leader can validate that outcome. A broad claim about superior AI cannot be established from the available public evidence.

Both competitors already offer operations and accounting connections. Visitt explicitly markets work-order-to-invoice continuity; Cove markets integrated operations and accounting connections. The opportunity is therefore to outperform them on exception resolution, implementation and measured value in a defined segment. It is not enough to rename an integration or chatbot. [C2](https://visitt.io/blog/work-order-management-system) [C10](https://cove.is/software-integrations) [C13](https://cove.is/product/building-operations)

Further review of Visitt's billing page strengthens the counterevidence: it describes a charge-review inbox, an accounting queue with history and error handling, tenant e-sign approval and shared charge-code libraries. PRISM must prove incremental omission detection and better handling of the buyer's exceptions. A queue or approval step alone is already part of Visitt's public proposition. [C14](https://visitt.io/billing)

This playbook equips sales teams to qualify and prove a deal, and product agents to validate and build the missing workflow. Evidence is current to September 13, 2026. No private PRISM roadmap, pricing sheet, repository or customer environment was provided. Shipping status must be checked against the release and licenses used in each deal.

## Why this recommendation comes first

**We recommend the financial workflow as PRISM's first commercial experiment because it offers a concrete outcome to verify, documented capabilities to build from, and a narrow starting scope.** This prioritizes a test we can learn from; the research has not demonstrated that it is the largest market, the strongest unmet need or a durable competitive advantage. The reasoning below is analysis of the cited evidence.

### Why financial follow-through for PRISM?

PRISM documents billable labor/material records and accounting batches. Those give a pilot a starting point for comparing eligible work with financial records. The proposed mechanism is to identify a legitimate omission, resolve its cause and verify the resulting accounting state. A controller can judge whether each case was valid and incremental to the existing process. That makes the outcome more specific than an AI-feature demonstration. [Billable charges](https://buildingengines-prism.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/34452182321819-Adding-Billable-Charges-to-Work-Orders-Preventive-Maintenance-Tasks-and-Inspections) · [Accounting batches](https://buildingengines-prism.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/35188639641499-Accounting-Batch-Exports)

**The strongest counterargument:** Visitt already offers billing review, approvals and accounting-error handling. PRISM's opportunity depends on resolving the buyer's remaining cases with better net value. We have not measured the frequency of those cases or customers' willingness to pay. If the incumbent already resolves them efficiently, this wedge loses its rationale. [Visitt billing](https://visitt.io/billing)

### Why start with Yardi and existing PRISM customers?

The purpose is to limit the initial integration and migration questions. One accounting environment and existing operational records make the first experiment easier to scope than a simultaneous competitor migration. This is a pilot-design judgment, not measured evidence of faster deployment. PRISM's Yardi guide also exposes a concrete boundary: transfer leaves batches unposted/open, so the pilot must establish downstream evidence. [Yardi setup guide](https://buildingengines-prism.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/34455212272155-Prism-and-Yardi-Technical-Setup-Guide)

Office operators and the 10–100-building band are proposed recruiting filters. The decisive filters are service volume, unresolved reconciliation work, usable records and a participating controller. If better-qualified design partners sit outside that band or use another supported system, change the cohort. We have not established a market-size advantage for the initial segment.

### Why make field readiness a foundation?

The financial result depends on trustworthy completion, labor, material and identity records. Incomplete capture creates ambiguous cases and extra review; it can erase the value of a good detector. PRISM's own dated mobile reviews make current field validation necessary. [PRISM mobile reviews](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.buildingengines.prism1&hl=en_US)

This explains the difference from the general-entrant report, which prioritizes operational readiness. For PRISM, the proposed financial outcome gives readiness work a specific business purpose. A standalone readiness offer would still need evidence of separate budget and demand. If field capture is the buyer's dominant problem, fix or sell against that problem first.

### Why defer maintenance, COI and generic AI as the first wedge?

Maintenance remains a credible adjacency to PRISM's operational data. We prioritize a chargeback pilot because individual cases can be checked against approved rules and accounting evidence; benefits framed as avoided equipment failures can require longer observation. A buyer with an urgent maintenance backlog can reverse that ordering. [Operational-intelligence scope](https://buildingengines-prism.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/45806448921115-Prism-AI-Operational-Intelligence-New-Feature-for-Purchase)

Visitt's documented insurance-requirements workflow also makes basic COI extraction a contested entry point. A new screen or summary would need enough customer benefit to justify implementation and change. A distinct compliance exception could still merit its own pilot. [Visitt tenant COI requirements](https://help.visitt.io/en/articles/14456467-set-up-and-validate-tenant-coi-requirements)

### Why does the sales approach change by competitor?

Cove's customer references emphasize the combined experience and deployment proposition; Visitt's materials emphasize frontline assistance and communication. The inference is that a finance win may still lose the deal if it leaves a decisive tenant or engineer requirement unmet. Qualify the buyer's actual selection criteria before choosing the demonstration. These public accounts inform discovery; they do not establish why every customer buys. [Cove customer references](https://cove.is/buildings-powered-by-cove) · [Visitt work-order translation](https://visitt.io/blog/introducing-al-live-translate-for-work-orders)

### Why can this become a durable advantage?

The initial exception queue is a proposed entry point. Reusable mappings, consistently successful implementations and verified customer outcomes could make the offer harder to displace over time. That advantage remains unproven: rivals can improve similar workflows, and support-heavy delivery can make a pilot commercially unattractive. Invest further only when repeated customer cases show value after review effort, implementation and ongoing costs. The 30-day pilot below supplies the proposed decision rules.

## Target market and wedge selection

Start with **multi-property office operators using Yardi, with meaningful billable tenant-service volume and a finance team that manually reconciles work against charges**. A proposed initial targeting band is 10–100 buildings; that is a prospecting choice, not a measured market boundary. Service volume, billability rules and exception burden matter more than square footage.

The economic buyer is an owner, head of property management or regional operations leader. The controller or property-accounting lead validates the business case; the chief engineer validates field effort. A tenant-experience sponsor remains important when the incumbent is Cove.

| Priority | Opportunity | Why pursue it | What could invalidate it |
|---|---|---|---|
| First | Completed work to verified accounting outcome | Directly measurable; fits existing PRISM accounting capabilities; finance can own the result | Little recoverable leakage, inadequate source data, or a rival resolves the same cases with lower total effort |
| Second | Equipment and maintenance exception resolution | Natural adjacency to existing operational intelligence; gives engineering leaders a practical use case | Produces more alerts without reliable assignment, closure evidence or adoption |
| Required foundation | Reliable field capture and recovery | Charges and recommendations depend on complete records | Engineers lose time, photos or labor entries; managers compensate with manual re-entry |
| Selective | Portfolio communication and vendor lookup | Specific Cove review signals and PRISM mobile contact capabilities support focused demonstrations | The buyer's current Cove configuration already solves the task |
| Low differentiation alone | Generic document chat, AI summaries, COI extraction or a branded tenant app | Existing category expectations or competitor strengths | No measurable improvement that offsets migration and change management |

The first design partners should ideally be existing PRISM customers with Yardi and willing accounting teams. PRISM has a JLL-oriented distribution and support channel, but this is an access opportunity, not guaranteed demand. Learn with customers already supplying operational data before funding broad competitive migrations. [P13](https://www.buildingengines.com/jll-mu/)

For a prospect on Cove or Visitt, begin with a permissioned historical-data assessment and a small pilot. Do not promise a seamless overlay on a rival platform: export coverage, IDs, history, attachments, rate limits and commercial access have not been validated.

## Capability baseline and PRISM's own gaps

| Capability | Strongest public evidence | Consequence for a deal or build |
|---|---|---|
| Operational intelligence | Paid natural-language analysis of work orders, PM, equipment, properties and impairments. [P2](https://buildingengines-prism.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/45806448921115-Prism-AI-Operational-Intelligence-New-Feature-for-Purchase) | Useful diagnostic foundation; do not assume live ledger, invoice or lease analysis belongs to the same query scope |
| Document intelligence | Paid document Q&A; January documentation says no mobile access and excludes tenants/vendors. [P3](https://buildingengines-prism.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/39982176468379-Prism-AI-Document-Intelligence-New-Feature-for-Purchase) | Check current access before promising frontline document assistance |
| Vendor-invoice extraction | March instructions document PDF extraction, editable fields and configured approval routing. Unmatched vendor names can default to the assigned company. [P4](https://buildingengines-prism.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/47684140424347-Using-AI-Data-Extraction-for-Vendor-Invoices) | Demonstrate extraction today where enabled; explicitly review vendor identity and missing line details |
| Billable work and batches | Configurable labor/material charging and scheduled exports across several task types. [P6](https://buildingengines-prism.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/34452182321819-Adding-Billable-Charges-to-Work-Orders-Preventive-Maintenance-Tasks-and-Inspections) [P7](https://buildingengines-prism.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/35188639641499-Accounting-Batch-Exports) | Use existing financial workflows; prove configuration instead of building another invoice system |
| Cost approval controls | January release notes document cumulative NTE checks and controlled overrides. [P8](https://buildingengines-prism.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/46002310618139-January-28-2026-Release-Notes-Prism-Web-Platform) | Keep deterministic approval controls; an agent should surface exceptions, not replace them |
| Yardi integration | Documented data exchange and accounting transfer with specific mapping requirements. [P5](https://buildingengines-prism.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/34455212272155-Prism-and-Yardi-Technical-Setup-Guide) | Treat transport, successful ingestion, posting and collection as distinct outcomes |
| Packaging | Current FAQ describes Operations and Experience packages plus advanced add-ons including HqO and Jones. [P9](https://www.buildingengines.com/faqs/) | Quote the complete solution, implementation and ownership of support—not an artificially cheap base license |

**The key implementation boundary:** PRISM's Yardi guide says batches arrive **unposted/open**. Charge codes require manual alignment and exact matching; synchronization is not proof of ledger posting or cash collection. A reconciliation agent needs a verified downstream status source, which may initially be a controller-provided export. That connector and workflow are part of the proposed build until demonstrated. [P5](https://buildingengines-prism.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/34455212272155-Prism-and-Yardi-Technical-Setup-Guide)

**The key AI boundary:** the February operational-intelligence guide separates operational and document chats, limits supported data modules and requires explicit building access. Conversation history expires after 32 days. Persist business decisions and transaction evidence in the appropriate governed system, rather than relying on chat history as the audit record. [P2](https://buildingengines-prism.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/45806448921115-Prism-AI-Operational-Intelligence-New-Feature-for-Purchase)

**The key date boundary:** the January overview lists several capabilities as roadmap. March invoice-extraction instructions and an August datasheet show later progress, including a COI-extraction marketing claim. Do not label everything in January's roadmap “missing today,” or treat the August datasheet as proof of every deployment detail. PRISM's “Language Detection” feature is comment moderation; it is not evidence of parity with Visitt's work-order translation. [P1](https://buildingengines-prism.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/34423808239131-Prism-AI-Feature-Overview) [P4](https://buildingengines-prism.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/47684140424347-Using-AI-Data-Extraction-for-Vendor-Invoices) [P14](https://www.buildingengines.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Prism-AI-Datasheet-BE.pdf) [C8](https://visitt.io/blog/introducing-al-live-translate-for-work-orders)

JLL Property Assistant is a separate publicly described offering connecting operational and financial applications. Its broader scope must not be silently included in a PRISM AI demonstration or quote. [P10](https://www.jll.com/en-us/products/property-assistant)

PRISM also needs to earn a reliability claim. A March 5, 2026 Android reviewer describes synchronization and labor-date problems; the listing shows a September 3 update. The iOS listing includes both complaints and positive feedback, plus subsequent contact and labor-feature releases. These reports justify current-version field tests, not a finding that every present deployment fails. They also make competitor app-store attacks a poor strategy. [P11](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.buildingengines.prism1&hl=en_US) [P12](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/prism-property-management/id1460840521)

## Head-to-head against Cove

**Respect the reason Cove wins.** Cove combines tenant experience with operations and implementation support. Its vendor-published Boyle reference explicitly describes moving from Building Engines to Cove; the exact prior product version is unspecified. A PRISM pitch based only on greater enterprise pedigree or portfolio standardization will not answer that story. [C1](https://cove.is/buildings-powered-by-cove)

| Deal element | Recommended action |
|---|---|
| Qualify | Establish whether finance has measurable charge or reconciliation pain and whether it influences the selection. Ask how completed, billable work is checked against accounting today. |
| Discovery | Ask the team to trace five completed services, a reservation cancellation and a credit. Find the manual handoffs and who resolves each exception. |
| Reframe | Connect the tenant service journey to the owner's verified financial outcome. Preserve the buyer's experience and access requirements in the evaluation. |
| Proof | Demonstrate correct property/tenant mapping, charge evidence, controller approval, accounting status and a correction. Include mobile vendor lookup and multi-property messaging only after validating PRISM's exact configuration. |
| Counterpunch | Expect Cove to emphasize app consolidation, access integrations, tenant adoption and close support. Show a named implementation owner, integration scope, tenant acceptance test and comparable total cost. |
| Walk away from this wedge | The procurement is mainly for a landmark-building launch, amenity programming or access-led tenant experience, with no finance sponsor or meaningful billing pain. |

Recent Cove reviews offer discovery leads around portfolio announcements and vendor contacts. Another older booking complaint is partly superseded by documented multi-date creation. Ask the buyer to demonstrate their own workflow; do not tell them Cove lacks reservations, integrations or analytics. [C4](https://www.capterra.com/p/266963/cove/) [C5](https://support.cove.is/hc/en-us/articles/41316202327316-Reserving-Amenities-Property-Teams)

**Suggested talk track:** “We should evaluate the entire service outcome: how easily a tenant asks, how quickly the engineer completes it, and whether finance gets the correct result. Let's run the same cases through both systems and measure the handoffs.”

**Demo trap to avoid:** buying a tenant-experience decision with an accounting presentation. Secure agreement that the financial workflow matters before spending the demo on it. If required experience functionality adds a partner or module, include that cost and support responsibility from the start. [P9](https://www.buildingengines.com/faqs/)

## Head-to-head against Visitt

**Respect the reason Visitt wins.** Public documentation supports AI assistance in work orders and specific translation capabilities. BGO's announced rollout also makes “Visitt cannot serve enterprise portfolios” an indefensible blanket claim. Its COI documentation is substantial; basic insurance extraction is not a clean PRISM wedge. [C7](https://help.visitt.io/en/articles/9697354-visitt-ai-capabilities) [C8](https://visitt.io/blog/introducing-al-live-translate-for-work-orders) [C9](https://bgo.com/press-release/bgo-properties-and-visitt-announce-national-strategic-partnership-to-power-ai-driven-operations?hs_amp=true) [C6](https://help.visitt.io/en/articles/14456467-set-up-and-validate-tenant-coi-requirements)

| Deal element | Recommended action |
|---|---|
| Qualify | Look for accounting exceptions, variable billing rules or vendor-cost controls that remain painful after work-order triage is improved. |
| Discovery | Ask what still happens outside the platform after a ticket is marked complete. Which rejected charges need spreadsheets or email, and how are corrections verified? |
| Reframe | Make successful intake one part of a measured process ending in approved financial records. Acknowledge the value of translation and automated updates. |
| Proof | Use identical invoice, charge-code, approval and retry scenarios. Count human corrections and time to resolve an exception, not the number of AI buttons. |
| Counterpunch | Expect a faster frontline experience, AI categorization and communication story. PRISM needs a real engineer to complete the field tasks, including poor-connectivity recovery. |
| Walk away from this wedge | The decisive need is multilingual triage and rapid adoption, PRISM cannot match the required flow, and finance sees no material unresolved problem. |

Visitt already claims labor/material billing and Yardi/MRI connections. The appropriate competitive question is how well it resolves the buyer's real exceptions, not whether it has an integration. Its recent G2 adoption complaint and Epic's implementation account suggest that continuing engineer participation deserves a scored pilot measure. They do not establish that PRISM is easier to adopt. [C2](https://visitt.io/blog/work-order-management-system) [C3](https://www.g2.com/products/visitt/reviews?qs=pros-and-cons) [C11](https://www.nexuslabs.online/content/when-epic-investment-services-replaced-their-cmms-with-visitt)

Include Visitt's documented marketing claims for review, approval and accounting errors in the matched demonstration. Test where each system still requires human investigation and whether downstream evidence is complete. Do not present financial exception handling as a capability Visitt categorically lacks. [C14](https://visitt.io/billing)

**Suggested talk track:** “Your team should keep the benefits of faster intake and communication. The next question is what happens to completed work: can finance see what should be billed, what reached accounting, and what still needs a decision? Let's compare that on your records.”

## A fair demonstration and 30-day pilot

Use the same buyer-approved cases and ground truth for PRISM, Cove and Visitt. Make the evaluation relevant to the buyer; do not manufacture irrelevant edge cases to disadvantage a competitor. Label native functionality, configured workflows, manual pilot services and prototypes separately.

| Case | Evidence required to pass |
|---|---|
| Eligible completed service with missing labor charge | Identify the omission with a work-order link, applicable approved rule and verified quantity; prepare a reviewable correction |
| Correctly non-billable service | Leave it uncharged and explain the exclusion; a system that flags everything fails |
| Missing or mismatched charge code | Detect the configuration issue, route it to an owner and verify the corrected submission |
| Invoice with ambiguous vendor identity | Require review rather than treating an inferred vendor match as authoritative |
| Cumulative invoice amount above approval limit | Apply the configured financial control and preserve the approval history |
| Retried or duplicated submission | Avoid a second financial entry; show the existing transaction and final status |
| Cancellation or credit after an earlier charge | Preserve the original evidence, apply the approved adjustment and show accounting reconciliation |
| Poor connectivity during field entry | Preserve photos, actual labor time and task state through reconnection; no silent loss or duplicate charge |
| Cross-property or unauthorized data request | Return only permitted records and retain the building context through follow-up questions |
| Export succeeds but accounting posting is pending | Display the pending state accurately; do not report booked revenue or payment |

The first seven cases define the finance-led wedge; the final three are foundation checks. Passing this script is proposed proof, not an assertion that a current product already passes.

**Days 1–5:** agree on billability rules, source access, baseline handling time and a manually reviewed sample. Use at least 50 representative historical cases, deliberately including non-billable and disputed examples. Record sample-selection bias and class counts. Recruit the finance approver and field users before configuration.

**Days 6–15:** run in shadow mode. Produce proposed exceptions and explanations without changing charges. Review both flagged and unflagged cases so the team can measure false positives and missed omissions. Fix mappings and verify every assumed integration behavior.

**Days 16–25:** move only approved cases through the demonstrated workflow. Keep human authorization for financial changes and preserve links between original work, approved adjustment and accounting result. Record the labor needed to operate the pilot, including manual services supplied by PRISM's team.

**Days 26–30:** compare results with the agreed baseline and competitor proof where available. Finance signs off on valid incremental amounts, reversals, and unresolved cases. Any collections lag extends the observation window; it is not filled with assumed cash.

Suggested initial go/no-go criteria are design targets, not measured product performance: all required control cases pass; at least 95% of flagged opportunities are valid in the reviewed sample; at least 80% of known eligible omissions are found; median handling time falls by 30%; and engineers complete the required field flow without lost records. Report numerator, denominator and uncertainty, especially with a small sample. The buyer can tighten or change these thresholds before the pilot.

**Why these pilot measures:** Validity tests whether the queue earns controller trust; recall measures missed eligible cases; handling time measures whether the workflow actually reduces effort. The 95%, 80% and 30% thresholds are illustrative starting proposals, not values derived from customer results or competitor benchmarks. Agree final thresholds against the buyer's baseline, review costs and acceptable errors before the pilot.

Track separately: proposed recovery, controller-approved recovery, posted adjustments, collected cash, credits/reversals, handling time and disputed charges. For the financial case, use **verified incremental contribution plus measured labor savings, less implementation, recurring fees and operating effort**. Do not equate gross invoice value with NOI, count the same recovery twice or apply a vendor's headline savings percentage to the buyer.

## Product-agent work packages

The companion JSON assigns dependencies, inputs, outputs, validation gates and acceptance tests. These are specifications for subsequent work; no agents have been deployed and no production workflows have been changed.

| ID / priority | Bounded assignment | Required output and completion gate |
|---|---|---|
| A0 / first | Validate the actual release, licenses and interfaces | Capability manifest with dated demo evidence; resolve native/configured/manual/prototype status and verify access before dependent builds |
| A1 / first | Map financial evidence and establish ground truth | Canonical IDs and record joins; reconciled input counts; controller-labeled billable and non-billable cases; explicit handling of missing data |
| A2 / first | Build the completed-service exception detector | Queue with source record, approved rule, quantity, proposed amount, uncertainty and next owner; meet agreed precision/recall targets in shadow mode |
| A3 / next | Prepare approved corrections through existing workflows | Reviewable change preview, authorization and duplicate prevention; no invention of labor time, rate or contractual entitlement |
| A4 / next | Reconcile the downstream outcome | Separate transfer, ingestion, posting, reversal and collection states, supported by actual source evidence; escalate unknown status |
| A5 / foundation | Validate field capture and recovery | Real-device task suite and recorded results for photos, labor dates, permissions and reconnection; resolve critical failures before expanding the pilot |
| A6 / deal support | Produce a buyer-specific battlecard and proof pack | Qualification evidence, agreed cases, complete pricing scope, competitive claims with citations and a pilot scorecard; keep unverified claims out of external material |

Design the detector around a narrow rule set first: for example, controller-approved after-hours HVAC and service-call categories with known rates. Use AI to interpret descriptions and propose links; use deterministic rules for arithmetic, IDs, duplicate checks, configured approval limits and transaction state. Route ambiguous eligibility to the controller.

The required record chain is:

**Completed service → evidence and rule → proposed correction → approval → submission → accounting status → adjustment or collection evidence.**

A persistent exception record needs the property and tenant IDs, original work-order ID, evidence references, rule version, proposed amount, approval identity, transaction IDs and timestamps. The model must be able to abstain when the record is incomplete. Useful autonomy is the removal of repeated investigation and follow-up; financial authority remains explicit.

For maintenance, a later agent can identify an asset without a PM schedule, assemble equipment history, propose the appropriate owner and track an approved task to completion. This is a second workflow with a different outcome measure. Do not combine it into the initial revenue-recovery pilot or promise predictive failure accuracy without validation.

## Commercial execution and decision rules

Use an initial **revenue-assurance assessment** to quantify whether a pilot is worth doing. Name a PRISM solution engineer and customer accounting lead jointly responsible for the result. Price implementation, historical-data mapping, required modules, accounting connectivity, support and ongoing exception handling transparently. Outcome-based pricing is an option to test only after attribution and adjustment rules are agreed; it is not a current PRISM offer established by the sources.

Before a head-to-head proposal, sales should know: the buyer's primary decision criterion; the monthly volume and value of relevant services; who approves exceptions; which accounting system/version is in scope; the available source history; the current workflow owner; and which deployment, mobile or tenant-experience requirements could override the financial case.

**Pursue the wedge** when the buyer acknowledges material unresolved financial work, finance and operations both participate, records are accessible, and PRISM can demonstrate the required configuration. **Validate first** when pain or data readiness is uncertain. **Use another pitch** when a tenant-experience or translation requirement dominates. **Stop expanding the product bet** when successive pilots show little incremental value or an incumbent resolves the same cases at lower total effort.

The strongest differentiator will be earned evidence: a repeatable implementation, reliable transaction history and verified customer outcomes. JLL expertise and distribution can help obtain that evidence. They do not substitute for it, and no claim should imply that one customer's confidential data is available to benchmark another customer without an established right to do so.

## Evidence limits

The original Cove/Visitt analysis remains the source dossier, including 43 selected review records. Its initial 98 UI assets have since expanded to 1,334 assets across 58 documented flow maps. This supplement changes the decision frame to PRISM strategy; it does not convert review complaints into proven current defects. Directory reviews can contain legacy Building Engines or AwareManager experiences under a current PRISM listing. Treat those as historical unless the product/version is identifiable.

No source establishes an exclusive, market-wide PRISM revenue-assurance advantage, a causal win-rate uplift or a guaranteed ROI. The proposal is actionable because it specifies the segment, buying trigger, proof, build dependencies, commercial test and conditions for rejection. It becomes a defensible competitive claim only when the buyer-specific proof succeeds.
