# QR Codes for Spaces and Equipment
In this article, we’ll explain how QR codes work, where to find them, and how to use them effectively.

QR codes are automatically generated for every equipment item and space in Visitt. They allow on-site teams to quickly access work orders, inspections, and technical details.
## **What Happens When You Scan a QR Code?**
Scanning will take you to the barcode page of the equipment, where you can create a new work order or view details.
By clicking the "Go to Equipment Page" button, you’ll be able to see if there are any work orders or inspections related to the equipment item, as well as view detailed information about it.
This ensures field teams always access the most relevant and up-to-date context.

## **Where to Find QR Codes in the System**
1. Go to **My Property** from the left-hand menu.
2. Click the **Equipment** tab.
3. You'll see a **QR Code** column with an icon next to each item.
You can click the icon or export the list with QR codes included.

## **How to Export QR Codes**
To export QR codes for your equipment list:
1. Go to **My Property > Equipment**
2. Click the **Export** button at the top of the table
3. Choose between:
- **CSV** – A raw data file
- **QR PDF** – A printable file with a QR code for each equipment item
